Truth, justice, intelligence. These words, used in conjunction with the word 'politician' would have once been considered an oxymoron. But not now.....The Light and Sunshine Party takes the time to make sure our politcians are working hard and still represent YOU and YOUR views.What are our views?The Light and Sunshine Party plan to make New Zealand a brighter, more enjoyable place to live in by creating a sunnier environment through removing day time clouds and creating all-day sunnyness and controlled rain during the night time. By exporting our excess clouds we will also create more jobs and fund tertiary education to the extent that student loans will be no longer necessary. Exporting more of New Zealand's unique, natural and renewable resources will also create a better economy. We also plan to upgrade our current transport system, using a more efficient system of solar powered vehicles. As well as saving you huge amounts of money due to petrol costs, this system will also reduce the amount of carbon monoxide pollution and help to develop a cleaner, safer enviroment.

It is scientifically proven that sunshine is a vital source of vitamin D. Because of increased exposure to sunlight due to our cloud industry, cases of diseases such as rickets will plummet. It is also scientifically proven that depression is linked to bad weather i.e. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). In our new, sunny New Zealand, depression will dramatically decrease. We are also offering a free six month course of intensive sun treatment to speed patients down the road of recovery. You may ask, with all this exposure to the sun won't cases of skin cancer increase?To deal with this problem the Sunshine and Light Party will clone O3 particles using advanced technology to patch up the hole in the ozone layer so that we are protected from the harmful UV rays that cause skin cancer.
